Currently, we have several teams that need funding. We are always in the process of training puppies for those in need. The cost of raising, vetting, training, and placing a Service Dog ranges between $25,000 - $60,000. We rely on donations to purchase and train dogs, to support our dog trainers and volunteers and to cover the costs of dog equipment, service dog vests, and veterinary fees. K-9 Country Inn Working Service Dogs relies on contributions from generous individuals, corporations, service clubs, and foundations who support the work we do. Your donations are tremendously valuable to our program and we cannot continue the work we do without your help.

Name A Puppy - $5,000 Corporate Sponsorship

Be a puppy sponsor and have the opportunity to give a puppy their name for life. No great puppy ever became an excellent Service or Therapy dog without having an equally great name. And that’s where you come in! You have the opportunity to give a puppy its unique name for life: honour a loved one or beloved pet, or name the puppy after your business, organization, or school. This gift helps cover the first year of life for a puppy-in-training on their way to becoming a working service dog. You will receive a certificate along with a photo of your sponsored pup, and periodic updates on how the puppy is progressing through our programs.

Each year, K-9 Country Inn tries to place more puppies to help people in our communities. We also train Therapy and Facility dogs to support First Responders to cope with the traumas they face daily. Our ultimate goal? To serve individuals across our country who have emotional and/or physical disabilities. Working side by side with their handlers, our service dogs provide enhanced mobility, a renewed sense of pride, comfort and self-reliance, and make ordinary moments extraordinary.

JORDYN & TOBY

In the spring, K-9 Country Inn will be training a Service Dog which will be named
Toby to meet Jordyn’s specific psychiatric (PTSD) needs. Toby will soon become Jordyn’s companion and best friend, and a vital part of Jordyn’s ongoing treatment plan on her road to wellness. To aid in Jordyn’s recovery Toby will learn many new skills to keep her
safe and comforted. In order to provide some financial relief and to ease the burden from
our family so our full attention can be given to Jordyn as she undergoes
treatment and therapy, please consider a donation to Team Toby and
Jordyn. Jordyn and her family thank you from the bottom of their hearts for
you support, as they take on this journey together. Every little bit helps us get one step closer to bringing Toby home.

DEBBIE CARLETON & SAWYER

Many of you have heard the story of police detective Debbie Carleton of the Halifax Police, who suffers from Post-traumatic stress and her Service Dog, Archie.

Unfortunately, the Service dog training that Archie received from a Nova Scotia company was not successful. Further to Debbie’s troubles, the trainer confiscated Archie, leaving Debbie without a service dog. Losing Archie was traumatic and harmful to her recovery from PTSD.

K9CI Working Service Dogs ON and K9CI Working Service Dogs NB have partnered with Debbie to provide her with a qualified Service Dog trained to meet her specific needs at no cost. Any donation to fund Sawyer's training until he is placed with Debbie would be greatly appreciated.

kAYLA & DELTA

Miss Delta Mae has been working very hard with Kayla & Beverly Wells on her training with K-9CI NB Working Service Dogs.

To aid in Kayla’s recovery & ongoing healing, Delta Mae will learn many new and helpful things. in an effort to provide some financial relief, and ease the tremendous burden so that Kayla can focus on her healing & health, please donate to Team Delta.
